One in 6 women and 1 in 33 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime. As survivors of sexual violence embark on a path of healing, the Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center is there for support, information and counseling. The Center provides a full range of services that are 100% free and confidential; they include a 24 hour crisis line, medical advocacy and crisis counseling. Volunteers with our agency have the unique opportunity to inform, support and advocate for survivors of sexual violence. Our volunteers are an essential component to assisting with these services to victims of sexual assault.
